This is a SE 1825 (1903) NEPAL GOLD TOLA MOHAR, KM-674.3 NGC UNC DET JEWELRY, FRESH & NICE. Although we are generally unfamiliar with these Nepal gold coins, this piece came from a fresh collection and was in an old flip. The coin appears to have fresh lustrous surfaces and a generally nice appearance. The planchet is a bit wavy and uneven, which we assumed to be “as-made.” Only upon close examination do we see a very small circular “punch” on the edge at about 9 o’clock.
