This is a SCARCE GROUP-BOOKER T WASHINGTON COMMEMORATIVE COIN DOCUMENTATION & SIGNED FDC! This is an unusual group of Booker T Washington Half Dollar-related memorabilia, consisting of 3 different brochures and a Portia Washington (Pittman) signed First Day Cover. Portia was Booker’s daughter by his first marriage. The content of the three brochures contain some fascinating historical data. Included in the brochures is the Gems of Wisdom brochure which was an enclosure with some (but not all) of the BTW half dollars shipped out by Stack’s Rare Coins of NYC.
