Description
This is a RARE 1929 $20 ST GAUDENS GOLD, PCGS MS-64; FIRST OF THE “FAB-5” DATE RUN; FRESH! Saint collectors, take notice! This is the first of the coveted 1929-1932 date run of $20 St. Gaudens gold coins. Most collectors consider these dates unattainable. but for the fortunate dedicated few who decide to go in that direction, here is your opportunity. As most 1929 Saints, this one has intense lustrous surfaces, and a certain freshness found on few other dates. Only a single bagmark to the right of Liberty’s left shoulder precludes a higher grade (and a MUCH higher price tag). The overall eye appeal of this rarity is excellent. It should also be noted that most examples of this date need to be procured through public auction, but this one is available for your consideration in private treaty. Once sold, we’re guessing that it likely will exit the market for a long time. Our commitment is to provide you with quality coins and collectibles at the best possible prices. This piece is no exception. Please note, the coin and collectibles markets do fluctuate, and prices occasionally will change. In this rare circumstance, we will contact you first to verify your order.
