Description
This is a COLLECTION OF 67 DIFFERENT BLACK POSTCARDS, EACH IN A PLASTIC PROTECTIVE SLEEVE, SOME REAL PHOTOS, GREAT THEMES-1900-20s. THIS IS A REALLY INCREDIBLE COLLECTION DOCUMENTING A CONTROVERSIAL AND DARK PERIOD IN AMERICAN HISTORY. ALL OF THESE POSTCARDS ARE BLACK (AFRICAN-AMERICAN) THEMED AND SOME ARE VERY DEROGATORY. VIRTUALLY ALL ARE FROM THE TURN-OF-THE-CENTURY THROUGH THE 1920s, ALTHOUGH SOME SHOW POSTAL USE INTO THE 1940s, MOST DATE MUCH EARLIER. ABOUT 1/3 OF THE CARDS ARE POSTALLY USED, AND MOST SHOW PRE-WW 1 DATED POSTMARKS. RETAILS ON THESE CARDS ARE FROM $10 TO $30 OR MORE. NEEDLESS TO SAY, IT WOULD TAKE MANY YEARS TO DUPLICATE THIS EFFORT. AT LESS THAN $10/CARD, WE DON’T ANTICIPATE THIS COLLECTION WILL LAST LONG, SO THE FASTEST FINGERS WILL WIN THIS LOT-GOOD LUCK! Our commitment is to provide you with quality coins and collectibles at the best possible prices. This piece is no exception. Please note, the coin and collectibles markets do fluctuate, and prices occasionally will change. In this rare circumstance, we will contact you first to verify your order.
