This is a CHARLES LINDBERGH LOT: 2 BROADSIDES, 1 1/4″ CELLULOID “BOND BREAD”ADVERTISING BUTTON, BRASS SPIRIT OF ST LOUIS PIN ON THE ORIGINAL CARD! The larger broadside measures 6″ x 17 1/2″. It has bright colors with some paper nicks on the borders, most noticeably a 3/4″ nick on the left-central border and a 1″ nick on the lower right corner. The top left corner also has a 3/8″ x 3/4″ piece detached although the paper is present and could easily be repaired from the backside. The smaller broadside measures 3 1/2″ x 9 1/2″ and has two noticeable paper nicks on the bottom edge. Both broadsides are prfomoting Lindbergh’s appearance at The Los Angeles Coliseum for a one-day event. The 1 1/4″ Bond Bread & Spirit of St Louis celluloid button is near-MINT. Finally, the scarce brass 1 1/2″ Spirit of St Louis airplane pin on the original card is MINT and as-made. The entire assemblage is shrink wrapped on a piece of acid-free foam board, and ready for framing. This is a very rare grouping of Lindbergh memorabilia, and it would be near-impossible to put these items together again.
