One of each date of 50 Pesos Gold from 1921-47 is represented, including the scarce 1931 and 1943….and of course, the first-year, key-date 1921. All coins are fresh, original BU, with the exception of the 1926 which is AU+ with a light cleaning. If the set were submitted for grading, we would expect basal BU grades on average, with a few choice coins, including the 1931 and 1943. There is 19.28 OZ of actual gold in this set, which represents the bulk of our modest asking price. The numismatic premium is negligible. This is a wonderful set that would take considerable effort to reproduce in the current numismatic climate.
