Just 1 graded at PCGS in 60 CAMEO, with only 1 finer Cameo, and a smattering of higher grade Deep Cameos (which are six figure coins). Akers claims only about 25-30 total examples exist in all grade. Proof Gold $10 Liberties are truly rare, and this is an “affordable” way to own a rarity. The coin itself shows great contrast between the fields and devices with fresh prooflike luster. The contrast is likely enough to qualify for Deep Cameo, but the honest chatter in the fields probably limits the depth of mirrors and keeps the grade at PR-60. It is very likely that this coin once inadvertently slipped into a bag of Business Strike $10s and bounced around, receiving the chatter that comes with the PR-60 grade.
