This is a 1809 DATED FRANCE BRONZE MEDAL, NAPOLEON, TREATY OF PRESSBURG, 41MM NGC MS-65 BN. Bronze, Bramsen-844. A really scarce medal! Napoleon dressed as a Roman soldier. Subject is the 1805 Treaty of Pressburg between France and Austria, who had been defeated at Ulm. Napoleon had defeated the Austrian Army, even though the Austrians had invaded Barvaria.
