Description
This is a 1797 $10 DRAPED BUST EAGLE, LARGE EAGLE REVERSE – PCGS AU-58, LUSTROUS & NEAR MS. A wonderful piece of Early Federal U.S. Gold. This 1797 Eagle had an original mintage of just 10,940 pieces, of which only about 200-250 are known to survive in all conditions. Evenly and well-struck, with ample luster deep gold surfaces and lovely reddish highlights at the peripheries. This is about as nice of a coin as one can buy without spending six figures for a mint state specimen. PCGS Price Guide suggest a value of $60,000. A wonderful offering! Our commitment is to provide you with quality coins and collectibles at the best possible prices. This piece is no exception. Please note, the coin and collectibles markets do fluctuate, and prices occasionally will change. In this rare circumstance, we will contact you first to verify your order.
